Each of our players will go through our functional screening process at various points throughout their time in our program. This system allows us to test a variety of components in our players including: speed, agility, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination. We then use these results to tailor our strength and conditioning program towards our players and what they need to work on.
Every one of our players is entered into our database which allows us to track their individual development throughout their time in our program. This allows us to quantitatively monitor how they are progressing and pinpoint what areas they are strong in and what areas might need a little more attention. Here at BFC, we believe in developing the entire athlete, and transferring that development not only onto the pitch, but also into our players lives.
Strength & Conditioning
Our strength and conditioning specialist works closely with our players and coaches, and designs the programs we use in a way that best fits our players needs. Included in these programs are science based warm-ups and cool downs that will help to lower the risk of injury in our players, as well as speed and agility, flexibility, and basic strength training.
